Rara Avis | Lakmé Fashion Week A/W 2016
Fuss-free blazers paired with relaxed jumpsuits, loose silhouettes, reverse layering and metallics dominated the collection of Sonal Verma. We're really enjoying seeing the earthy palettes, hints of metallics and the sheer bell sleeves that seem to be making a comeback.
No matter how creative or ingenious couture gets on the runway, the collection that appeals that most is the effortlessly gorgeous garments - illustrated beautifully by Sonal Verma.
Designed primarily for the new-age traveller, the garments were crafted out of thick, wear-and-tear proof fabrics which are apt for the approaching winter. The designer brought velvet to the forefront with either the whole garment made out of it or just minor detailing on the jacket lapels and sleeves.
