7 Ways To Use Ice
We have been putting together ways in which you can incorporate into your beauty regime. It might be uncommon to think that something as ordinary as ice can be used in achieving better skin, but sometimes the most uncommon treatments can be the most effective. Whether that be for soothing or radiant skin, here are 7 ways of using ice when it comes to beauty.
|| Cucumber Aloe Face Mask ||
Blend sliced cucumbers, cucumber juice, lemon juice, rose water, apples, mint leaves and turmeric powder together.
Freeze into ice-cubes
Apply for 10-15 minutes wrapped in a towel.
You can also turn this mixture into a mask to refresh and hydrate your skin! All the ingredients above are great for reducing redness and hydration, so our little recipe combines them together for a relaxing and softening ice facial. This mask is especially beneficial you struggle with skin redness
|| Green Tea Facial ||
Green tea is exceptionally great for reducing dark under eye circles, but freezing green tea and using green tea ice cubes has an incredibly soothing effect for the rest of your face too.
|| Acne Relief ||
Why not even use ice to dry out those awful pimple before applying acne relief medicine on your skin.
On certain days of the month some of us do experience the occasional pimple. The technique works a treat especially when paired with blemish control pads to take care of any acne scars.
|| Rose Water Ice Facial ||
These may look like regular ice cubes, but we like to freeze rose water into the ice cubes for a rose water facial.
You can also boil rose petals and freeze that water, doing this helps refresh and soften your skin.
|| Makeup Primer ||
If you have some spare time, try running ice (wrapped in a paper towel) over your face before you apply your makeup. This will help close your pores and reduce your redness for a glowing face.
It also helps in making your makeup last longer!
|| Tweezing ||
Tweezing can be the most painful thing in the world sometimes, so prepping your skin with ice a few minutes before you are about to tweeze will help you have a painless tweezing session.
