Creamy Matcha & Moringa Latte
We have found a super simple recipe for a delicious, creamy, velvety matcha latte packed with superfood goodness. This warming drink is perfect on a cold winters day. It has boosting properties that will energise you and keep you alert and focused for hours.
Matcha and moringa are so similar - they actually look the same, and pair very well together.
Unlike spirulina or chlorella powder, which have a strong taste that can be difficult to get used to, moringa has a subtle and sweet taste.
Moringa is a tree, native to India. The leaf is used to make the powder, which can be found at most health food stores. It's a true superfood as it contains huge amounts of antioxidants, phytonutrients, minerals, vitamins and amino acids. It's particularly high in vitamin C, vitamin A, calcium, potassium and protein. It's an overall incredible natural supplement.
Some great recipes that we love combining to is smoothies, crepes, breakfast bowls and desserts for a nutrient boost and a vibrant green colour. In addition with the amazing disease fighting properties of matcha tea and the benefits of health-promoting fats and you've got yourself a true nutrition powerhouse of a drink.

We like using cashew milk for this recipe. It has a naturally smooth and creamy consistency, but you could use any other plant-based milk - coconut, macadamia or almond milk).
• 1 cup unsweetened plant-based milk (I used homemade cashew milk).
